All but Miss M

We were in St. Louis this weekend for Jack's baptism. We were able to get a family picture of everyone (on my momma's side of the family)...except Miss M...she was sleeping. As soon as I learn how to use photoshop I will add her in!

Sweet Ride

We are visiting baby Jack for his big baptism weekend. The neighbors have a little girl who has a pink Mustang Barbie convertible. She took Miss M for a ride. Miss M loved it. It had a seatbelt (to ensure the 4 year old driver didn't eject my 1 year old daughter) and a radio (where Miss M enjoyed pushing buttons). If she was bigger she would have one in the mail.
We also got a few pictures of Jack. I love him.

A few pictures of Miss M

Yesterdays post was full of pictures from my phone which are of very poor quality. I decided to break out the camera again and try to catch a few pictures of Miss M in her cute spring outfit from Aunt Nessa.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Happy Wednesday!

I have been informed it's been awhile...

I have been informed by a faithful follower that it's been close to a month since the last update on Miss M and her activities. There's been a lot happen in the last month so we'll use numbers to make it easier for everyone.

1. Around Miss M's birthday she started walking and hasn't stopped since. She got new shoes so she could walk outside without hurting her feet. She also got shoes because she hates grass. We thought it would help her to walk in the grass so she wouldn't have to tough it. It didn't work. She still feels it on her legs and when she falls down she freezes because she refuses to put her hands in the grass to push herself back up. Currently both of her knees are scrapped up and bloody because she falls down all the time. Most of the time the falling doesn't bother her. I find it exhausting.

2. She LOVES ice cream. No joke. Loves it. She won't drink milk and needs calcium in her diet therefore it seems absolutely reasonable that she has a milkshake (or some ice cream product - McFlurry) everyday.

Strawberry Shake at Red Robin.

Chocolate Shake from Potbelly's.

3. She still loves feeding herself. She pretty much refuses to eat if she's not in control of the fork or spoon. We have also introduced her into the world of condiments. Oh, the wonderful world of condiments. She dips her fries in ketchup and ranch dressing. Not at the same time.

4. We celebrated Easter. We didn't get any great pictures of Miss M. In fact, we didn't get any half way decent pictures of her. It might have been because we tried to stick bunny ears on her. We had her wear the ears last year so I really wanted a picture of her with them on this year. Aunt Nessa brought over an Easter bag filled with goodies for everyone. There was a lot of fun stuff like scented bubbles, a device used to make pancakes into fun shapes and designs, and new Miss M plates! We love our Aunt Nessa and all the fun gifts she finds and buys. Grandma D came up and spent an extended weekend with us (as was approved by her employer beforehand!). We went to the zoo one day and Miss M enjoyed not riding in her stroller and laughing at the animals.

5. I backed into the wall behind our parking lot. Yes, my car beeps at me when I am getting close to something but when you live in the city it is always beeping. Yes, it gets louder the closer you get but again it always beeps at me. At least I didn't hit another car. Right? I have already done that once this year.

6. We have been traveling fools. We have taken car rides and plane rides. We are ready to be home just so we don't have to live out of suitcases. We like being gone and spending time with family and friends and spending time in places where there is more than a five foot rug where we can't go play outside very easily. Luckily, we can go to play groups and get out of the house. We went to the play cafe a few weeks ago and Miss M found a doll stroller. She didn't want to push it rather she wanted to be pushed in it. If I would have known she would ride in the stroller I would have saved my money and taken her for a walk in a stroller where I didn't have to hunch over to push her. She loved it though. She squealed in pure delight.

7. Grandma and Grandpa's house has a toddler rocking chair. Miss M is in heaven with this rocking chair since she loves to climb she climbs in and out of the chair all day long. She has done pretty good at not standing in the chair but rather just getting in it and getting out of it and occasionally sitting long enough to rock.

8. Miss M does all sorts of things these days. She signs all done and more. She doesn't use them correctly most of the time but she can sign them if you ask her. She gives great big open mouth kisses. She talks all the time although she doesn't have any clear words coming out of her mouth. She's getting close to saying actual words but now it's still all babble. But it's babble all day long.
She likes to be pulled or pushed around on her corn popper. She likes her iPad games. I don't know. It's hard to sit here at 10pm and think about all the wonderfully awesome things she does but let me tell you - she's awesome.

9. I will try not to wait another month. I like to have pictures when I post stuff and even with my fancy camera it's hard to be quick enough to snap pictures of her. She is a busy little girl.

10. I like multiples of fives - probably in a way that could be clinically diagnosed as something - therefore I can't end on 9 but have to go to 10. We are looking forward to seeing just about all of Miss M's family this weekend when we celebrate the baptism of baby Jack. We need a nickname for this kiddo.
