Mother's Day at the Gym

Miss M and I pack ourselves up each morning and head to the gym. It is a guaranteed hour where Miss M can run around and play with other kids, other teachers, and other toys. She enjoys it. She doesn't cry when I leave her. There are days I go to pick her up and she runs away from me or just ignores me.  I really like the daycare workers and the fact that she likes going to play.

Today, when I went to pick up Miss M, one of the workers handed me a piece of paper and explained that it was Miss M's Mother's Day card to me.  It was so sweet. I almost cried.  It was very sweet of the daycare since it is likely to be the only thing I get for Mother's Day. The card was painted by Miss M.  When I picked her up they said she was a mess and had paint everywhere. This is why I wouldn't give Miss M paint.  I don't have the patience for it.  She still had some paint in her hair, under her fingernails, on her clothes, and on her face when I picked her up.  It was cute.

Here is Miss M and her painted Mother's Day card creation.  It makes my heart happy.

Here is a picture of Miss M and Mom. It's from a few days ago but there aren't many pictures of the two of us.  She's getting so big. And my hair is so long which is what happens when your hairdresser decides to go and have a baby!
