We wasted minimal time on our California getaway. We got up at 6am Friday to pack up and head to get our rental car. We had decided to to on a half day bike wine tour. I was pretty tired from run/walking 20 miles the day before but I plugged on. It was painful and not pretty.
I like to talk pictures of Andrew riding his bike.
Our tour guide Mary Ellen, in blue, and the four other women who were in our group.Winery #1 Saddleback. It was a lovely, small, quaint place.
The second winery was across the street at Silver Oak. It was not small or quaint.
Heading back to the bike shop.
Stop for lunch at Bottega. It was amazing. I miss those fluffy pillows of gnocchi.
While we were out riding and enjoying some beautiful weather and delicious wine the kids were carving their pumpkins!
