Miss M is obsessed with the idea of getting bunk beds. We finally pulled the trigger on some bedroom furniture after Miss M's dresser became unusable.
The furniture arrived and Miss M was excited but when the bedsheets arrived Miss M was over the moon. I wanted to wash and iron the comforter and sheets before putting them on her bed. She went ahead and ripped open all the packages and started loading the washing machine. I wish she would wash her own clothes. I suspect when she turns five she could start doing some laundry.
Loading the washer. I think we way overloaded it but it was loaded and it wasn't loaded by me.
Then she laid on the floor and watched the spin cycle for about five minutes before she realized it isn't a quick process. She's so sensitive to sounds. She runs around covering her ears a lot. It's annoying though b/c she's so loud when she's running around playing. The noise she produces clearly has no impact on her hearing.
A completed room. New bed. New dresser. New bookshelf. New sheets. It feels good to have her room completed as well. Now my mission is to get another child to sleep in her room so we can free up a bedroom so we could have a guest room and an office for Andrew.
