Miss M loses the training wheels

Miss M took an interest in the balance bike I bought her approximately two years ago for the first time.  She was really getting around well on the bike when she realized her friends/neighbors were riding a bike without training wheels but with pedals.  She begged Andrew and I to buy her a new bike so she could learn to ride without training wheels.  Her and Drew headed off to the local bike store and bought a used purple Specialized.

On Sunday the five of us walked over to the middle school. Miss M was anxious to get the training wheels off her bike.  

Andrew followed behind her for a few minutes then she screamed for him to let go.  She never fell. She never complained. She just wanted to ride around in circles over and over again.  She's so happy to have a big girl bike.  We're pretty impressed and proud of her.
