Mr. Man - 5 months

Well. Mr. Man is 5 months old now.

It kind of came and went.

I remembered the night before because I was worried I had missed it. I remembered it the day of when someone asked me how old he was. And then by the time I remembered again he was sound asleep and I had missed my chance to take a picture. Whoops. Good thing he didn't change too much by the next day.

He's rolling over more (thanks to Grandma D - although I am not really sure how thankful I am of this since he does it when he sleeps and then he gets upset and then sleep is ruined - I guess if it wasn't rolling over it would be something else - it will be something new next month - maybe teeth). He doesn't really roll and get places just lays on his back and rolls himself over then kind of gets stuck until you roll him back over.  He's kinda lazy. He grabs at everything now and is pretty good at getting what he wants. He is excellent at taking the sunhat off his head and putting it in his mouth during walks.  He's eating baby food once a day. I feed him a fruit and a vegetable in the evening around 5 to kill time before he goes to bed. I mean what else can you do with a baby. There are only so many 5 minute activities I can come up with before I am bored and clearly he's bored b/c he demands some other entertainment.

I bought him a new exersaucer. It's more stable than the jumpy kind on springs. He's still a little wobbly so the jumpy kind are a bit much for him. He seems to enjoy sitting in it and experiencing a new view.

He also gets ticked. And when he gets ticked he's a tough cookie to calm down.  Right now he's screaming in his bed. He's been screaming on and off at me for an hour. I have tried everything so now I am seeing if he can work through it himself. He won't. Thankfully bedtime is only 1.5 hours away and counting.
He still likes to play outside and lay in the grass.  He's gonna start eating grass soon I imagine.

He likes eating his toes when I am energized enough to change his clothes out of his footed pajamas.
Better go rescue him.  He's plenty ticked.  I am plenty exhausted. Too bad he doesn't care.
