We've just been hanging out

Miss M received a package in the mail from a special someone who knew we needed a few new activities to keep us entertained.  She got a hopscotch and tic-tac-toe board!
Miss M is obsessed with a new Disney Jr. show called Sheriff Callie. It's a western show with animals solving all kinds of problems of which I don't pay attention.  Miss M therefore likes to pretend she's a cowgirl with a lasso and when she's not riding the rocking horse she's trying to ride me.
We go to the store a lot while Miss M is in school.
I remember when I thought I was such a great parent because Miss M ate everything we put in front of her. Now I want to scream because she won't eat/try much of anything.  I get so tired of cooking and throwing away food.

But Mr. Man loves food and most all of it.  He still spits scrambled eggs out as soon as I put them in his mouth.
I finally convinced her to try a noodle.  A noodle.  Seriously.  I even gave her Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on it and red sauce to dip it in.  Eventually she ate a noodle.  And then she asked for seconds.
Let's not talk about how out of control and weird her hair is in this next picture.  She kept asking me to paint her fingernails and I kept ignoring/avoiding answering her.  I eventually gave in (possibly threatened her life) and painted her fingernails and toenails pink. She was so happy and sat still the entire time (I was quick).
During Mr. Man's afternoon nap Miss M and I sit on the couch and relax and have a snack. Miss M loves microwave popcorn!  Cozy.
We spend a lot of time playing around. Mr. Man loves to try and get Miss M.  She likes to try and build pins to contain him or protect her.  They end up just giggling and it's sweet.
Andrew volunteered to take little miss to get her hair cut.
Her hair looks so cute when it's trimmed up.  We aren't sure she won't be rocking this same haircut when she goes to Kindergarten.
We've had a bit of a rough 24 hours. We've had a lot of laundry and cleaning up bodily fluids from sick adults and children. I think we're making a turn around but it was a rough go for awhile. It's amazing how kids rebound so much faster than adults.
