Together time

Now that Mr. Man is fully mobile he's all up in Miss M's business.  She's okay with it sometimes and other times she screams so loud I can't handle it. He doesn't seem to mind when she's in his business b/c he sees it as an opportunity to take her down.

I spend most of my days telling one of them to be nice to the other one, to stop hitting, stop biting, not to push the other one over, telling one of them that whatever their up to is definitely not a good idea and so many other things that are stop behavior commands.

This is Mr. Man's standard face after he takes her down like he has no idea why he's not supposed to treat her like a wrestling toy. I wonder if he'd like to wrestle with Mr. Bear.

I took the kids to the city zoo to meet Aunt Nessie one day. I hadn't really taken Mr. Man anywhere that wasn't enclosed or had a cart to strap him into b/c I didn't know if I could handle him and Miss M and being pregnant all at the same time. Aunt Nessie's extra hands were helpful when wrangling children and pushing strollers.  Mr. Man was fascinated with the zoo and the animals. He enjoyed the big tractor in the children's area.
He wanted to be one with the animals. The giraffes were galloping around the field and he tried to fit his body through the bars and so he could go gallop with them.
After the zoo, I had to go to a doctor's appointment so Aunt Nessie came down and took the kids the park across the street. While we were waiting for Aunt Nessie the kids were playing around (rather lovingly) and doing what Miss M calls their Huggle Dance. Aren't they so sweet when they play nice together and no one is getting screamed at.
Miss M helped Mr. Man get down the driveway on the roller coaster car.
Mr. Man isn't a great eater. He eats majority of what you put in front of him but he's kind of finicky about whether he feeds himself or you feed him or if he wants to use utensils or if he wants to go after it with his hands. His preferences change each meal. It's rather exhausting. He gets very distracted by his sister who is usually choosing not to eat and rather dink around at the table so whoever is feeding him needs to be prepared to shove what food they can in his mouth while he's distracted.

On this particular day he was so excited about his mac and cheese (which his sister ate none of) and he was shoving it in his mouth by the fistful.
If only it was acceptable to eat like this forever.
