I don't recall July being exceptionally busy but with the lack of blogging one might assume I have been busy. In reality my computer was out of commission for a bit and for the other part of the month I was making Miss M take "resters" at which time I napped while they were all quiet.
Mr. Man still likes to live on the edge.
And his living on the edge causes me some heartburn but really as long as he's quite I don't care.
Miss M's quiet time lately causes me heartburn too because she's usually attempting an "experiment' and it usually ends up in a huge disaster mess that I get to clean up b/c if she tried to clean it up it would be even more of a nightmare.
The kids and I have been going to the local play cafe to hang out b/c it's air conditioned and b/c it's contained. The kids love it and I love not chasing them around a park where it is inevitable that Mr. Man will attempt things he can not accomplish and the park experience will end in screaming.
Mr. Man is growing teeth at a rapid pace. I keep telling myself it's going to end soon. He isn't sleeping great as he's either getting up super early (4am or 5am and not going back to sleep) and grouchy or he's waking up in the middle of the night and staying up more than five minutes.
The kids enjoy going on a walk around the block every evening. It only burns about 10-15 minutes but at least it changes up the scenery for the evenings. Mr. Man is very into dogs/animals right now. He doesn't want to be up close and personal with them but he loves to spot them and scream what should be 'dog' at them.
The kids love to gather leaves from all the different trees/bushes, sticks and rocks. We usually come home with quite an assortment of nature.
