We haven't taken Borders family pictures since Miss M was about 4-5 months old. There are two new babies this year between Cambria and Miss Cate therefore someone thought it was a good time to take new pictures. There shouldn't be a new baby for at least a year or two but crazier things have happened.
The plan was to just take pictures of the kids and a picture of the kids with Grandma D. Before the whole session was over each family and each child had family pictures taken with the exception of Nathan and Cathy b/c Cathy was struck with the flu bug.
I like this picture the best with the exception of Miss M and whatever she's doing with her hands. She is so weird sometimes. She will either be lifting her dress or putting her fingers in her mouth. I like that Miss Cate is smiling.
I need to figure out how to photo shop Miss M in this picture into the above one. I will do that when I have a few minutes...so maybe 2032.Look at that handsome little fella. He almost doesn't look like a terror. He had woken up around 4am the morning of pictures and finally fallen back to sleep around 7 to catch a few hours of Zs before waking for the day. It could have been a disaster but look at that smile.
Look how big he looks. Such a grown up little man.
And then there's Miss M. She's crazy. She's hyper all the time. Exhausting hyper most of the time.
I meant to get her hair cut before we went home for Christmas. Whoops.
Miss Cate was the last of the pictures to be taken. She cooperated quite well.
Here are all ten (10!!!) grand kids. Trenton has Miss Cate. He was awesome. He didn't even flinch when we asked him to hold her. He just does what he's told. I don't know many 15 year old boys who would be comfortable with a three month old. Cambria wasn't having any of this excitement. All she wanted was her momma.
The boys. Big Willie looks thrilled.
Grandma with all her grand babies big and small. Big Willie is trying to get his sister. He wanted to hold her. He thinks she is his personal accessory.
The girls. They weren't nearly as cooperative as the boys.
The brothers. I think this is the best picture these boys have ever taken. Usually they stand in a line or sit on the couch and put their arms awkwardly around each other. Aren't they handsome fellas.
Oh Audrey Irene Jo-Jo Borders. Her personality and sass are something else. She is 5 going on 15. She brought a second dress that she had bought the day before so her and Miss M could match. Callie didn't want her to wear the gray dress for pictures b/c it wouldn't match Ella or their family pictures. She dearly wanted a picture with Miss M. I was able to bribe Miss M into a picture with her. All I owe her is a "special" picture frame for her and Audrey so they can put their pictures in their rooms. They played together all weekend. They even slept together at night. They were adorable. If my life wasn't so chaotic and she didn't have so much personality I would have her come up for a week and stay...maybe in a few years when I am less tired. Although I wonder if I will ever be less tired.
