Spring Tea

Miss M's school does a spring tea for the parents and families. I wasn't really looking forward to the tea b/c wrangling Mr. Man while trying to maintain the appearance of a sane mother isn't always easy.

It was a rainy day or cold day - I don't even remember anymore - so they held the tea party in the parlor of the church. It was lovely. We all brought blankets. The kids each decorated a box which contained strawberries, string cheese, and cheddar bunnies for our snack.  The kids had made lemonade for us to drink and then for dessert the kids had made Dirt and Worms with chocolate pudding, crushed up cookies, gummy worms and a pretty flower.  The dirt and worms was my favorite.  It was also Mr. Man's favorite. He couldn't get enough...now that I think about it maybe I should add pudding to my grocery list...anyway.

Miss M had fun running around with her friends and telling me about how they prepared for the tea.
Mr. Man jointed another family for dirt and worms. I am unsure whether I was not sharing enough or I ate it all.
The kids sang us some songs they've been working on.
Here is Miss M and her buddy Drew-b. He's in our gymnastics class and they are so funny together. They are very concerned where the other one is most of the time but they really don't want anything to do with the other one.  Drew is so much bigger than Miss M. He is more then 10 pounds heavier than her and almost a head taller. He's not going to our school next year which breaks my heart a lot b/c I like his mom and I think he's a fun/cute kid. His little brother will be in Mr. Man's class in another year and hopefully he'll be back to our school by then. I hope we'll still be able to do gymnastics class with him although he's moving to the new class before Miss M due to his age.
Kid loved the pudding.
