The last stop on the help train

The help train has departed.

Grandma D came up and stayed with us for a week. Four hands for three kids is way easier (and it's still not easy!) than two hands.

I am not a big fan of leaving the house with three kids. I try to do it as little as possible. Or for short trips. Miss Cate doesn't really appreciate being strapped into her car seat and Mr. Man needs carried a lot and again it goes back to the only having two arms thing. But while Grandma D was here we made it to the park and the library to kill some time while the cleaning lady was here and before school. The park has computer games for the kids. Look at those cheeks. You want to eat them don't you?!?
Grandma D and Mr. Man were matching. Grandma isn't a big fan of having her picture taken so there aren't many and by that I mean these are the only two with grandma in them.

Sunday was the first day by ourselves. Grandma left us...she was ready...seems like everyone is ready to leave. I wonder if it's us or them?!? Andrew went to the Bears/Packers game. It was for work which apparently makes it acceptable. I refuse to let him forget. At least not until the children are 18.

I get a babysitter for a few hours a day as often as she's available. And sometimes I just lay in bed and don't feel the least bit guilty about it. Being by myself with three kids is a total juggling act. I am practicing my juggling. Hopefully one day it will just feel natural or at least easier or maybe funny.
