Playing and the play cafe

Miss M is in summer camp from 9-12pm Monday through Thursday.  A few mornings a week I get a babysitter and get errands done while she's in school.  I decided that I wanted to take Big Willie and Kit-Kat to do something special.  It's easier to take them to the play cafe since it's enclosed (and air conditioned). Big Willie enjoys the place and today we were the only ones there so there wasn't any sharing issues except with his sister.  

We made tunnels b/c Big Willie and Kit-Kat love tunnels.  She loves to crawl under and through anything.  

 He loves to shoot hoops.

 I put her down the little slide a couple times and she loved it.  Look at how happy that face is.

Miss M made a pet rock at school today.  She named her rock Madeline.  It's not Madelyn or a derivative of Madelyn but pretty close.  She doesn't want to get too crazy.

It was the hottest day since July 2014 today. It hit the 90's. It was hot. It's hard to take the kids outside when it's that hot. Or at least it's hard to take Kit-Kat outside when it's that hot. So we stayed inside and made a play fort out of couch cushions. The kids had fun until the big ones wanted different forts.   They can't all be happy for too long. The constant playing of referee is exhausting me.
