Arboretum Campout

We're going to ignore the one month hiatus and proceed from where we left off.

Andrew and the kids were signed up for the annual Arboretum Campout again. Miss M's friend, A, and her mom, were signed up to also camp.  A's mom ended up having a work event and Andrew agreed to take the three big kids camping by himself.  

I loaded up their gear and off they went.  

Cater and I went to the mall and wondered around.  We didn't buy too much but rather made returns and walked around.  

Cate did manage to weasel some new boots out of me.  

Kevin and the boys were also at the campout so the kids had more friends.

Willie ate a cheddar meal worm.  I'm not exactly sure why he elected to eat it but I was impressed with his desire to try something new.  He won't eat a taco but he'll eat a worm.  Go figure.
