A look back in pictures

I'm so far behind in the blog world so a look back of the past four to six weeks will be summarized in pictures.  You're welcome.  

Girlfriend has style. And personality. And sass.  And determination. 

Andrew and I went shopping one day.  The kids scored new rain boots. I wanted to buy them for Cater b/c she loves boots and b/c everything small is cute.  I then realized that the other kids could use them for practical reasons.  And Cater can wear their hand me downs. I felt like a genius.  Until the credit card bill came.

 A trip to a nature preserve called Little Red Schoolhouse.  It consists of a one room schoolhouse open for walking through.  We missed the hours of the schoolhouse which closes before everything else.  There's a 1.75 mile walking trail and a building with random animals in it.  I can't even describe it. We had fun and we'll go back eventually. It makes me sad that we can't all go back together b/c of the various school schedules.

Kayleen made Willie a dinosaur hat/crown/tail.  It was awesome.  

 

 Before we got his hair cut and all his crazy, out of control curls got cut off.

 Miss M ends up in our bed more than anyone else. Mostly b/c I don't let any other kid sleep in our bed.  Miss M knows to go to Andrew's side of the bed b/c she climbs over him and he doesn't even know it.  These two are two peas in a pod.

I just love babies that sleep.  

 Willie getting his dance party moves on.  It was awesome. I wanted to die laughing. It made me wish we had dance parties at home.

 So serious. So beautiful.

We received a cook picture of the land of Iowa as a gift from dear friends and we finally got it hung two months later.  We were pretty proud of ourselves for accomplishing something.
