The days in our lives

These two play so well together.  They are both happier when they've got each other and Willie is always happier when he is at home.  I also love baby buns. I can't resist them.
Just another Sunday Funday Family Lunch. We usually go to Potbelly's but we changed it up and went for BBQ.  All 8 of us could fit at a table which is an added bonus.

She is intense.  All the time.
Meet Tank 2.0.  Drew went to clean the tank one day and saw the original Tank didn't make it.  We spent over $50 on fish supplies i.e. bowl, food, chemicals, house, rocks so we weren't calling it quits just yet.  Tiffany went to Petco and snuck in Tank 2.0.  He's more green the last one but no one has noticed. We are glad there's a few fish in town b/c Cater was asking every day where Tank was to which we responded he was in his house.  Since the arrival of Tank 2.0 we are back to no one paying any attention to him.
She will probably always be her own unique person in every way.
There was a stretch when it was so warm out. I long for those days again.  It was 60 in February and now it's back to being 25 in March. It feels wrong and disheartening.  While it was warmer out we were able to get some yard work done.  I love putting children to work.  It is quite gratifying.

Playing Play-Do.  Will and Cater really enjoy playing with play-do. I enjoy the silence but dislike the mess it always creates.
I told Andrew I wanted a heart shaped chocolate cake from Portillo's for Valentines Day.  Tiffany was afraid he thought I was joking or he would forget. He didn't forget and neither did she so I scored two chocolate cakes. I ate them both. I have no regrets.
It's the baby buns again. I can't help myself.
There was a stint where Cate wanted to sleep in bed with the big kids.  She did okay but proved she wasn't ready for a big bed b/c she gets out of it.  We'd let her fall asleep with Miss M and then move her to her crib once she was asleep.  It was pretty cute watching them snuggle up.
Miss M working on her weekly homework assignment. I need to be more diligent about making her complete her homework each week but it all seems ridiculous and overkill.  She struggles to want to do homework after a 7 hour day at school and she'd rather craft and do projects. It seems reasonable to let her do the things she hasn't been able to do all day rather than write letters that she is already proficient (enough) at.  It's possible I am just a lazy parent.
