Trip to Terra Haute

The kids had a long weekend for President's Day so we loaded up the minivan and headed south to the land of Terra Haute. We haven't found anything too exciting in Terra Haute but we love seeing our friends so we keep going back. And the weekend we went it was in the 60's which meant being able to toss the kids outside and burn some energy discovering the woods being the house or riding bikes/scooters in their dead end circle.  The kids play so well together making it easier for the adults to have adult time.  They also eat similarly so we're able to throw random food at them and not have to make six different meals for six different kids.  

Play hard. Sleep hard.  Kids sleep like maniacs.

And most of all this one. Of all of us.  We miss them so much. I miss Jill's reason and rationale. I suspect she misses me too and my fly by the seat of my pants mentality.  We're a good match.  Or at least I think so.
