I feel like we were busy planning one party after the next from March to May with parties for Miss M's bday, Easter-Palooza, Tiffany's graduation and finally Willie's bday. None of these parties were small in size or nature. It's hard to have a small party when you're a family of 5 and a couple friends have families of 5. You're at 15 people with only three families.
We had the usual cast of characters for Easter-Palooza this year. We were only down one family (of 5!) who traveled home for the holiday. It was almost impossible to get a picture of all the kids. I call it a win that they were all in the same general location whether they were looking at the camera or not.
We had our annual egg hunt. We let the kids move to the front yard this year since they keep getting bigger and our yard doesn't. Tiffany went around and hid all the eggs. She hid them so well we were still finding them in the plants a few weeks later. Hunting for eggs!
Uncle Sean put a dollar bill in one of the eggs later in the afternoon and hid it where they'd never find it. The kids were so excited about that one dollar egg. They looked hard until we finally moved it to an easier location. Thankfully no one fell completely apart when they didn't find the egg. Proof they might just be growing into civilized human beings.
