Miss M's school basketball game

Miss M was selected as one of the kindergartner students to participate in a basketball game against the teachers. It was a reading challenge for the entire school.  We had to turn in a sheet each week for the month of March showing how many minutes read. Children who read more than 100 minutes a week were put into a drawing.  Miss M's name was drawn.  She knows nothing about basketball except maybe what a basketball looks like.  She was the smallest and the most uninterested in playing but the most entertaining.

Team huddle.  Her kindergarten teacher was their "coach".
Tiff made us signs to take with us to cheer her on.

The starting line up. She was so nervous.

Majority of the basketball game looked like the picture below. Miss M running all around doing jumps/spins while everyone else was trying to get the ball and shoot or get the ball from the teachers. She could have cared less about the game.  At one point the principal whispered in her ear that if she got the ball he'd pick her up and let her shoot in the small hoop.  Nope. She just kept dancing her way around the gym.  She had the time of her life.
