Jack's 5th Bday Party Weekend

The kids and I drove down to see Big Jack for his bday party.  Andrew flew in sometime later. The days all run together anymore.  Big Jack's bday weekend was more than 6 weeks ago. Another reminder to blog more frequently b/c my memory isn't what it used to be. 

Chick-Fil-A for lunch. They all had to sit next to each other in one booth b/c well they are unreasonable humans who don't need space to eat their food.  

They took baths together in Jessie and Craig's enormous bathtub every night. They thought it was the best thing ever. They drank a lot of the water which worried all of us over four foot tall.  No  one got sick from drinking the water...but that doesn't discount how gross it was to watch!

 We set the grocery store up in the basement and they shopped their hearts out.

It wasn't very warm when we got there but we went to a park to burn some energy for awhile. I remember it being cold. I don't remember it being parka with a hood cold.  Parka with a hood is Gesie.

 Jessie was worried about the cupcakes on the way to the party.  She took necessary precautions and seat belted them in so they wouldn't get hurt.  She's a good mom.

Jack's bday party was at an exotic farm animal place. It was like a zoo but not as formal as a zoo. It had kangaroos, goats, pigs, and zedonks. Majority of the animals you could buy food to feed them. The kids were all in on feeding the animals.

 They weren't afraid or phased by feeding the animals at all.

 This is a zedonk. A zebra and a donkey combined into one lovely animal. If you look at the picture closely you can see the animal has zebra legs.

 After the party we went back and sat on their deck. Its a beautifully huge deck that had no children on it.  We are in a good place b/c the kids can run off and play together and don't need 100% monitoring. I've been looking forward to this day for approximately six years! It's as glorious as I thought it was going to be!
