Blizzard

It started snowing.  It kept snowing and snowing and snowing.

Andrew used the snow blower to get started on the snow.
The girl loves to play outside. Thankfully she can get herself dressed in her snow pants, boots, coat, hat and gloves. She knows to stay in the backyard unless an adult is out front. The other day I opened the window so I could hear if she needed anything. It works pretty well for both of us.  Big W isn't so sure about the snow. He refuses to wear his snow boots and he freaks out when he gets snow on his shoes.
We bundled up to head to a super bowl party two blocks away.  If the party and been further than two blocks we wouldn't have gone.  We opened the door to leave the the snow that Andrew had shoved earlier that day kept coming down and blown up the side of our house making it difficult to leave. We had to carry each kid individually to the garage or else they might have gotten lost in the snow.
This was our snowman before the snow started falling.
This is our snowman on our way to the super bowl party.
This was the deck when we got home from the party.  We had to carry each kid back in the house.  The snow was up to my knees.
She wanted to play outside Monday since there was no school. I figured it was a good way to burn some energy. A better way than watching more television. I am so tired of watching television or being asked to watch television.
 She made snow seats.
 And a snow bed.
The snow can melt now.
