This isn't the greatest picture of the shenanigans Miss M was up to the other day but it does represent her nonsense. Miss M received a birthday present which contained four pretend cupcakes and markers to decorate the cupcakes. While she was watching tv she took it upon herself to decorate herself instead of the cupcakes. I was in the same room. I was in the recliner while she was on the couch. I don't know how I missed it until it was too late. She colored her cheeks, nose, neck, hands and arms. When I went to remove the marker from her possession I realized she had written on my favorite blanket and the couch. I was more irritated she wrote on my blanket. I informed her (probably not gently) that she had written on the blanket and she responded in her most frustrating 14 year old voice/tone "Well wash it then". Uhhh. I could/can/will wash it but that's not the point.
Needless to say she ended up in her room and taking a nap.
And thus all the markers I was able to find during my recent purge of toys were thrown away. I will throw away any that make their way in our house or that I find hidden in crevices I missed the first time through.
Andrew came home late one night. He has a problem with driving and not calling someone. He sat in the car for who knows how long chatting before bringing his conversation inside. When he went outside the next morning his car was dead. We had to get the owners manual out to find out how to pop the hood of the car only to find the battery is under lock and key (nuts and bolts) in the truck. It is actually genius b/c we were able to have the neighbor pull up behind the black truck and jump it rather than pushing it in the street which would have been a sight with Andrew in his work clothes and me in my sexy pink striped pajama pants.
Mr. Man loves when his daddy comes home.We received a bread maker from a friend who wasn't using it any longer. We love it. Miss M loves to watch the process through the little window.
We got this picture of Bat Jack the other day. I want to eat him. Doesn't he look so grown up?
