Miss Cate is 2 months old

Miss Cate is such a sweet girl. She's so easy compared to the other two as babies and compared to the other two as toddlers.  I am sure if she was my first I would find it all stressful but with two others running around being crazy it leaves less time to dwell on things that aren't worth dwelling on.

She eats well. She eats 4 oz every 3-4 hours.

She sleeps well. She doesn't know how to fall asleep on her own yet but that will come with time. Generally though it doesn't take much to get her to fall asleep. I just have to walk around with her with the noise machine on annoying loud. I am glad I don't have to sit down and rock her or feed her to get to sleep b/c with two other ones it would be hard to devote that kind of time and energy (at least for me). Mr. Man doesn't really always approve of her sitting on my lap bc he wants on my lap and sitting next to me doesn't cut it.

She's starting to want to go to bed earlier than 11pm which is fine by me. Staying up until 11pm is not enjoyable for someone who isn't normally up that late anyway.  She's been going longer stretches regularly between feedings at night. Two nights ago I fed her and put her down around 8:30/9:00pm and she didn't wake up until 6:00/6:30am.  Amazing.  The other two didn't sleep that long for months.

She's smiling. She's starting to coo.  She's looking around and watching what's going on around her.  She follows noises. It's nice that she's starting to be aware of her environment b/c it distracts her and keeps her busy and she will sit in the bouncy seat or lay on the floor for a reasonable period of time where before she wouldn't want to lay on the floor for more than a couple minutes and then she wanted to be held.

She weighed in at 10 lbs 7 ozs which puts her in the 20th percentile. She measured 23 1/4 inches which is the 75%.  Her head circumference is in the 34%. She's so different from the other two in size.

She really likes watching her mobile which is nice bc it allows me to get a few things done.

She still despises her car seat.  And she isn't really fond of her hat. I, however, love the hat and may have a mini infatuation with baby hats.
