We used all our tricks to convince Miss M that we should go to Chick-fil-a instead of McD. Chick-fil-a has fancy ketchup packets, bendy straws, lemonade, cow place mats and ice cream shakes. She wasn't buying it. We drove to Chick-fil-a anyway. All concerns of a freak out disappeared once we pulled into the parking lot and saw the Chick-fil-a Cow.
She loves the Chick-fil-a cows. She spots them on billboards and she comments about all the silly things the cows do i.e. get on top of billboards, water towers, use parachutes. I got extra pumped to try and help the cause!
She was excited to get her picture taken with the cow although she looks terrified. She asked him if she could get her picture taken and when we left she asked him for a high-five and then informed me he was really soft.
Mr. Man on the other hand was beyond not impressed with the cow. It is not an understatement to say he was scared out of his mind. He was shaking when we came across him but I thought he was shaking b/c we were outside and it is a whooping 20 degrees out. He continued to shake while I held him and we ordered food. Miss M and Andrew went to find a place to sit and Miss M picked her usual window seat. It was a corner window seat where you can see out of the east and north windows. Mr. Man was shaking so hard I could it from across the table. We realized he was scared of the cow. Deathly scared. Andrew walked around with him but he kept an eye on the cow and kept freaking out and shaking. We finally moved to a corner where we thought he couldn't see him and he semi-calmed down.
Andrew staged the exit around the cow's movements. We got out without any freak out from Mr. Man. I would say it's safe to say we won't be visiting any Disney theme parks any time soon.
