We receive a lot of boxes around here. And with the holiday season we are receiving even more boxes than usual. We received a really large box and decided we needed a pirate ship. Our pirate ship is named Bucky - I think this is the name of Jake's pirate ship on Disney Jr. and if not it's still the name of our ship anyway.
We have oars/holders for our oars/a mast/a moving steering wheel and some designs colored on it inside and out courtesy of both kids.
I did all the manual labor. It was fun b/c the kids see it as me playing with them instead of me just telling them to get off me. The kids enjoyed playing in the ship, eating their pirates booty in the ship and also napping in their ship.
