10 months old. We've almost made it to her one year birthday. I am tossing around ideas for her birthday party. Miss M thinks we should have butterflies but I think we should have a farewell to babyhood party.
She's getting to the age/stage where she won't eat everything. It was bound to hit us. She has started reaching in and grabbing the food out of her mouth that she doesn't like or making faces when she bites something that is not to her liking. She cut two teeth while she was in Iowa for the week so now she's got a total of five teeth with four on top and two on the bottom. The dentist said that the rate which a baby teethes is genetic/hereditary which explains why all of my kids teeth earlier than most.
Miss M insisted a picture of us while Kit-Kat took down some pudding.
In the book racks of the library just eating a snack. She more or less just makes a mess of the Cheerios in the snack-trap rather than eating them but it entertains her. She wants to be on the move. I think once she can walk she's going to be so happy. She loves to crawl and chase Miss M and Big Willie around the house. She loves when the kids play with her and pay attention to her. She still eats everything from buttons to chalk. I found a dollar coin in her mouth today. I can only stop so much.
She waves. The other kids were well over one year old before they waved.
She bites.
She throws tantrums when you take things away from her or don't let her have her way.
She crawls up the stairs.
She doesn't have any problems going to people. She doesn't seem bothered by strangers. She's just generally happy someone is paying attention to her.
She loves to walk using a toy to keep her steady.
She is pretty good on her feet and her falls seem to be semi-controlled.
She can stand alone for a few seconds.
She was standing without holding on to something this weekend.
She sleeps through the night (majority of the time).
She is probably supposed to have a 10 month check up but I haven't scheduled it. I will probably wait until her one year appt.
She is a sweet one but she might just do me in.
