Pictures from kids' trip to Keokuk pt 1

I was able to download the pictures from Janan's camera to my computer from the kids trip to Iowa in June. They ate popsicles every night.

Sidewalk chalk and bubbles.
The goal every day was to wear the kids completely out of energy. I think Kit-Kat was sacked out every night.
They went down to the river one day to feed the ducks but instead were met by flocks of geese.  The geese started attacking them.  There were so many of them they had to run back to the car and hide out.
I learned the kids walked to the park every night which means Big Willie walked to the park every night.  I recently made this trip to the park with Big Willie walking and I almost lost my mind. He's so slow.  Janan said he was always at least a half a block behind everyone b/c he's so easily distracted.  He would occasionally call out "I coming".  He eventually made it but it's not wonder he was tired each night as the walk is at least 6 full blocks.

Miss M had found two pine cones when we were at the park before we left.  She wanted to make bird feeders out of them but I didn't have bird seed nor was I going to buy any.  I told her to take them to Janan's as I knew she would have bird seed.  One afternoon while the littles were sleeping they crafted her pine cones into bird feeders.
They hung them on the tree and when they went to look at them a day or so later they were completely gone. An animal had come in and taken the whole pine cone.
The kids learned about hidden gems like merry-go-rounds and real teeter totters.  We don't have any merry-go-rounds in our parks. I imagine it's a liability to the village and considered completely unsafe by a parents group.  In Keokuk anything goes.
Bath time fun with three little exhausted and dirty babies.
