Our friends came over Saturday morning to watch the parade. We walked over to Miss M and her friend's teacher yard. It was so fun to see Miss Nancy. The girls and I gave her big hugs. We miss her so much.
Kit-Kat enjoyed the thrown candy and had her first sucker. We are able to keep her from eating mulch and bugs and other ridiculous things by strapping her in the car and pushing her around.
While Kit-Kat was rocking in her car the other two were motoring around on their scooters and bikes. I love one leg scooter riding Big Willie. This is how he rides his scooter all the time. It kills me.
After nap time we loaded up the minivan and took the family to the pool. We were there for about two hours before the pool closed. Kit-Kat loves the pool but you have to take her to the deep end. If you set her in the zero entry area she thinks she can crawl right into the water. The big two wear their floaties and happily float all over the pool area.
We scooter every day. Miss M is posing. Andrew was going to take Miss M and tentatively Big Willie to the high school to watch the fireworks. We weren't sure if Big Willie could stay up that late and/or watch the fireworks without utter fear. Plans changed and I was going to take the kids. Plans changed again once Big Willie walked outside. It was game over from the time he heard the first big boom. Miss M and I walked up in our pajamas and watched the show.
