Big Willie did not like his party hat. He wanted it to just sit on his head. It should sit on his head since it's so big but it didn't. But Kit-Kat was willing to wear his hat for him.
Miss M wants to hold Kit-Kat all the time. Kit-Kat wants to move.
We celebrated Big Willie's birthday by killing time with popsicles outside. A good reminder that popsicles should only be eaten outside and within reach of a hose.
Sweetness.
After popsicles and before the rain came in we loaded up and went to the play cafe. It happened to be a free entrance day and there weren't many people there on a Friday night at 5pm. They served pizza too which was quite awesome. Free play. Free pizza. Happy birthday big buddy. You're welcome.
The play cafe employes a gentleman that also works at our gym. Big Willie was worried about where Dennis was all the time. He wanted Dennis to be his personal playmate. Dennis is so amazing with the kids and loves them all. He played catch with Big Willie for awhile before we had to leave b/c it was closing time.
We opened the remaining gifts after the play cafe. The fun just doesn't end. Miss M was just as excited, if not more excited, than Big Willie for presents. She did a great job of helping him start the unwrapping and let him do the rest.
Well except for the presents wrapped with my new paper from Costco. It has a plastic side which makes it impossible to rip open.
Look closely at the glass. I found these glasses with the state of Iowa on them. They are our new favorite glasses. There's no place like home.
Birthday Thomas the Train was a big hit. Thomas is in his birthday hat and pulls a light up birthday cake that sings the Thomas theme song.
It was a great day. Everyone was well behaved. Everyone got along better than usual. I wish we had/hope we have more days like this day b/c my heart was so happy. But all good things must come to an end. Happiest of birthdays Big Willie!!!
