This is the spring tea summary Miss M did at school. "My mommy liked the strawberries. My daddy liked the berry tea. Will liked the lemonade. My favorite thing was the berry tea. I was wearing my party dress!". I am sure glad I found this fancy party dress. We are definitely getting some use out of it.
We've been playing outside and Kit-Kat has discovered that there is life beyond the Bjorn. We both win. Big Willie hasn't been too jealous that she's riding in his car. This push car is the best $35 I have ever spent.
Big Willie was insistent on pushing Kit-Kat. We ended up walking around the block and he pushed her the entire way and she rode the entire way. I don't think I have walked without toting or pushing someone in a very long time. We could be on to something.
Trifecta. Baths after breakfast.
I took Kit-Kat and Big Willie to the doctor for their age appropriate check ups on Monday. I can't take two kids at the same time again. I did it with Big Will and Miss M once and now I remember why I told myself I wouldn't do it again. It's miserable. But we made it home alive. Barely.
Kit-Kat
28" long - 74%
17 lbs - 38%
Head circumference - 36%
She's growing steadily when you look at her stats charted out since birth. The doctor is happy with her progress. She told me to avoid feeding her eggs. She had them for breakfast. And avoid nuts. She has peanut butter for breakfast most mornings. Whoops. She's napping once a day most of the time. The doctor was surprised that she wasn't napping twice but once works for our schedule b/c there's not much sweeter than when two kids sleep at the same time.
Big Willie
36.5" long - 96%
32 lbs 4 oz - 90%
Head circumference - 59% (I think she measured incorrectly. His head is enormous.)
We are supposed to call and request a speech evaluation through the free state program. She thinks his vocabulary and sentence are excellent but his articulation might be bad/at risk/i don't know b/c he apparently has a high arched palate. I feel like he's talking a whole lot better than Miss M was at 2 years old. I don't think Miss M was saying much at 2 years old and he's speaking in sentences. I am not worried but rather more annoyed that she thinks it's an issue. She also thinks we need to wean him from sucking/chewing on his blanket b/c it's doing something. I want to ask her if she wants to live with him if he can't have his blanket. I doubt it.
