I took the old people to the ATT store to get all our cell phone details worked out and get them upgraded to phones that aren't from the last decade. Well it wasn't that bad but they needed an upgrade. Now I want an upgrade.
I had a drs appt for my foot and it took longer than expected so Grandma and Grandpa speed walked Miss M to the skate rink for her first class. There are three clinics for skating so I didn't have to sign up for a whole session. I am glad I only signed her up for three classes. We might be canceling the other classes. They got her all laced up and I arrived just as they finished wiping their brow. She had a quick 5 minute instruction on the ground regarding how to march and how to get up. It wasn't long enough.
She spent most of her time on the ice. I should have thought to have her wear snow pants to pad her skinny buns. And gloves to save her hands for when she slammed them into the ice. Maybe there will be a next time. As you can see there is one instructor to seven kids who don't know how to skate. It's a bad situation. She should probably just go with Kayleen and walk around and have Kayleen help her. After this picture she got up then took a serious fall. It was so hard to watch. It broke my heart and made me laugh at the same time. She needs to go with Kayleen so I can't watch.
After ice skating we dropped her off at the house and left for the theater. We met Nessie and Andrew downtown for dinner and the Book of Mormon play. Both dinner and the play were great but just begin together was pretty wonderful. It doesn't hurt that we found a great wine at dinner.
