We went to Matt's house Wednesday night for dinner. The kids love going to Matt's "farm". The kids chased the chickens. Big Will ran around and screamed at them to 'come back here' until I made him stop b/c I was afraid the chickens would have a heart attack. When the chickens would slow down so would he b/c he wasn't really sure what he'd do if he caught one. Kit-Kat (aka Cater) ran around and squawked at them too. I think she would have attacked one if she'd have had the chance.
The kids fed the chickens leftover buns from dinner. Big Will threw down whole buns so I would have to follow behind him and pick them up for him to redistribute.
The kids enjoy swinging on the front porch. They swung for awhile before we finally had to pack up and go.
Miss M's hair is growing! She is also obsessed with singing the Cubs song repeatedly. She likes to watch the Cubs play baseball in our bed when they have a late game b/c she knows it means she gets to stay up late. She's not nearly as interested in watching when the game is on during the day. She also sings the Iowa Fight Song on repeat. Usually when she tires of one song she moves to the other. Over and Over and Over.
