Books

I have been trying to read to Miss M. It's not yet a regular activity in our daily routine. She is still pretty young. And she still doesn't want to be held much without being walked around. So really it's like reading aloud to myself. Very entertaining.

We need to buy some of the plastic books because her interest in books lies in eating them.

We also need to put all books written by the Dr of nonsense in a box until she's at least one. Good grief. I read one book today by the Dr which was 62 pages long. They can be pretty long pages for a children's book. And really what are these books about. The one we read today was about various fish (one fish two fish) and by the middle of the book I swear it had nothing to do with fish. Another thing with these books, outside of them being really long for a four month old (and her momma), is that reading them aloud is difficult. The made up words and fragmented sentences are more than I can handle.

I think we'll stick to smaller less nonsensical books for now.
